Slazenger V2.8 Composite Hockey Stick

Crafted for victory, the Slazenger V2.8 achieves a perfect balance of simplicity, elegance and power. The new Slazenger V Series is inspired by the market leading cricket bat range to move a step forward in stick design. 2010 sees the continuation of Fuse and Nano technologies but with the addition of 1500K armour giving each stick in the V series an unrivalled combination of power, precision and performance. "I need something with a serious edge to it. It's all about power. It's all about the V2.8!"- Dan Fox (GB and England, Hampstead and WestminsterSlazenger's Nano process enhances the quality of the stick at a molecular level. This increases the uniformity between the resin and carbon fibres producing a more consistent and stable bond. The result is additional tensile shaft strength which produces a more powerful stick that is also more stable on off centre hits. New technology for 2010 is the addition of Carbon and 1500D Kevlar cloth to the heel of the stick. 1500K Armour technology increases durability on sand based astro turf pitches, on water based Astros it helps prevent water damage to the shaft of the stick. The carbon core technology and unique composite construction from Slazenger provides more responsive sticks for all player types. All Slazenger Pro range sticks feature muscle fibre technology. This is the amalgamation of three key composite materials to provide high levels of stick playability and power.Slazenger's anti-vibration grips are standard on all composite sticks. Each layer works together to absorb vibrations without reducing the important 'feel'.
