Barefoot Running
30 January 2010
Since the BBC news featured a story on barefoot running and its benefits we've seen an increased number of people hunting for suitable running shoes to emulate the effect of barefoot running.
Well we thought we'd help out by providing some further info and a couple of favourite trainers for that barefoot feel. The important thing to remember with barefoot running is only to run barefoot where its safe. Otherwise you could injure your feet. Its possible to get the same benefits from very thin-soled trainers such as the Puma Speed Cats seen here.
Many barefoot runners swear by Puma's Speed Cat range but if you're more of a Nike fan then the Nike Free shoes offer great comfort and feel for barefoot running.

Winter Approaches
10 October 2009
With the winter season fast approaching that doesn't mean you have to stop indoors all day. There's plenty of sports that are ideal for the winter months and here's just a few ideas for winter alternatives to your summer sporting activities:
- Running -> Indoor Running (treadmills) or a membership at your local gym are a great place to start if you have the running bug.
- Martial Arts - These are always done indoors and provide a great workout for mind and body. Offering aerobic, strength and flexibility all in one.
- Circuit Trianing - This will really get the heart pumping and you can often find local leisure centres provide great circuit training classes for all levels.
- Yoga - If you want to keep warm in winter then you can't beat Ashtanga yoga. Its a heavy workout with lots of sweating involved!
We're already preparing for the colder months and have uploaded over 300 new sportswear items onto the site with more to follow. Again aiming to get you the cheapest, highest quality sportswear out there.
